The graduation exhibition of the Final year Design students was held at the University of Moratuwa in March 2008.

The most highlighted design presentation was the Final year Comprehensive Design Projects of the five design disciplines: Furniture Design, Ceramic Design, Fashion Design, Graphic and Communication Design, and Jewellery Design. Each stall was creatively laid out to exhibit the work of each student done through the years.

Although these exhibits were considered an academic exercise, it created a lot of public interest with visitors dropping in to view amazing talents of the students. This annual exhibition is one of the most memourable events at the University of Moratuwa and has become a pavilion where the industry meets the creative young graduates who pass out as Designers from the University. It also provides an opportunity for the visitors to understand the learning outcomes at various levels of the four-year degree course, while providing the graduates a forum to discuss their project work and design ideas with the public and the industry experts.
