The 11th meeting of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation of Architects (SAARCH) and the Students’ Forum was hosted by the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) in New Delhi from March 12 – 14, 2008. The Sri Lanka delegation was led by SLIA President, ArchtJayanthaPerera and included three senior architects and a group of eight students from the University of Moratuwa and the Colombo School of Architecture.

The conference for senior architects was held at the Habitat Centre. The Students’ Forum was held at the JamiaMiliaIslamia University (JMI). The theme for the Students’ Forum this year was titled ‘Safe Built Environment.’
