Legislation has been passed to fulfil a long felt public need of the country and now it is mandatory for buildings to be accessible to all. Thus ramps, specialized toilet facilities and other ergonomically user friendly features to make public buildings accessible for people with disabilities as well as the elderly will be incorporated into architectural designs from now on.
